Linden Methodist Church has changes

On Tues, November 4th the Steeple (with bell tower and clock included) was removed at the Linden United Methodist Church. This has been in discussion for the past 3 years due to the aging structure of the bell tower and the effects it was having on the roof. They had sent out letters earlier this year, along with information for fundraising on their Facebook page and in the Linden News in the Dodgeville Chronicle. It was a sad day for our congregation and community to see the steeple come down, but they had to save the church or the steeple. The steeple was in dire need of repair and the estimates to fix it were out of reach, so the church is now back to its original historic self with no steeple or bell tower.
