Holidays in Highland cruises into 10 years of activities

This year the kick off to "Holidays in Highland" was the Highland High School carollers sharing songs Friday night. Saturday started with the craft show, a Jingle Jog (new this year), lunch and evening activities in the park. In the park area there were Memory Trees, wine tasting, photos with Santa, eats and parade at 6:00. Many braved the cold to see brightly lit floats from Santa on the Highland Volunteer Fire Department fire truck, Park/Recreation tree float (center photo), Otter Creek Construction Grinch float, and several others plus dressed up walkers. The featured Jingle Joggers (right photo) are: Avery Hrubes, Sofia Ramel, Abbie Ramel and Mason Ramel who were part of s a 5k walk/run. Their outfits earned bragging rights for next year's event. The lights/decorations in the park will remain on until the end of December.
