Roder (Wally), Wallace T.

Born 6-7-1935 Passed away on 7-23-2025 Wally was born in Chicago, IL to Ruth Niemeyer Roder and Theodore Roder. After his father’s death, Ruth married Clifford Tollefson, and Wally grew up on the Tollefson family farm. He graduated from Mt. Horeb High School in 1953. After that, he served in the U.S. Army. When he returned hom, he met Geraldine (Geri) Shipley, and they lived in Mt. Horeb and had six children: Anita, Michael, Barbara, Susan, Scott and Christine. Later, he married Nancy (Hughes) Weiss in 1977 and became a stepfather to Jay and Jon Weiss.
