YES receives opioid settlement funding w

The Iowa County Health and Human Services Committee awarded $2,000 of Opioid Settlement Funds towards “Youth Emergency Services” recently. 

The presentation was made to the committee by Alex Garvey of Upland Hills Health and Jordyn Phillips from the Iowa County Sheriff's Department. 

The funds are expected to be used as seed money to get the Youth Emergency Services (YES) Program started to address prevention, increase youth engagement, and emergency response workforce development needs in a community....
