Richards, Sandra (SanDee) Jean (Wehrs)

Dodgeville – On March 26, 2026 the soul of Sandra (SanDee) Jean (Wehrs) Richards entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior; to her eternal inheritance in heaven.

Sandra was born July 28, 1938 in Aurora, IL to Adoph Paul Albert Wehrs and Helen Henrietta (Garbelman) Wehrs. She graduated from West Aurora High School in 1956. Sandra worked at All Steel Equipment in the Engineering/Blue Print department prior to meeting her sweetheart, Jack Bernard Richards, whom she married in 1957 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aurora, IL.

Sandra was a homemaker, devoted and loving mother. She worked side by side with her husband in his building and cabinet trades as his designer/architect. She loved gardening, her yard and flowers; crafts and gave God praise for the talents she possessed. Sandra became involved in the Christian Woman’s Club in Dodgeville after moving to Wisconsin in 1966. She gave her heart to the Lord in 1967 through the inspiration of the dear friends she met in this club. She devoted her time to Friendship Bible Coffees; the Billy Graham Association movies; and her beloved churches. Sandra spent the last many years of her life enduring the struggles and limitations of Parkinsons Disease. Her physical activity vastly limited; her heart, her unconditional love, her kindness, her strong mind and her dedication to the Lord, her family and friends never faltered.

Her loved ones remaining on this earth are: Kent David Richards (Cristina); Debra Jean Richards; Michael Paul Richards (Dani); Melissa Christine LeVine (Charles H. Jr.); 8 grandchildren, 1 grand-son-in-law, 1 grand-daughter-in-law, 5 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and one special former daughter-in-law, Cheryl Richards.
