Iowa-Grant board discusses locker room upgrade

Two matters drew considerable discussion with both being on going for the Iowa-Grant school board.

One matter is the desire to improve the locker rooms which are basically determined to be outdated. The problem is the upgrades, which includes four showers, is costly with estimates of up to $1.2 million.  While the board agrees the upgrades are needed they do not agree if the needs justify the cost.

Director of Maintenance Mike Oium updated the board on the project.  There are three companies interested in the project and Oium has been in contact with them and will keep the board informed...
