This year the kick off to "Holidays in Highland" was the Highland High School carollers sharing songs Friday night. Saturday started with the craft show, a Jingle Jog (new this year), lunch and evening activities in the park. In the park area there were Memory Trees, wine tasting, photos with Santa, eats and parade at 6:00. Many braved the cold to see brightly lit floats from Santa on the Highland Volunteer Fire Department fire truck, Park/Recreation tree float (center photo), Otter Creek Construction Grinch float, and several others plus dressed up walkers.
The featured Jingle Joggers (right photo) are: Avery Hrubes, Sofia Ramel, Abbie Ramel and Mason Ramel who were part of s a 5k walk/run. Their outfits earned bragging rights for next year's event.
The lights/decorations in the park will remain on until the end of December.
