Bridging national partisan divide can start locally

The way to bridge political division might be locally by starting with a less contentious issue, a speaker told about 50 people Sunday afternoon.
Find common ground and consensus, advised Amber Wichowsky, associate professor of public affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison LaFollette School of Public Affairs.
