Reynolds, Shane Allen

Shane Allen Reynolds, age 38, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2026.

Shane was born on September 21, 1987 to Dennis and Michelle Reynolds. He attended school in Dodgeville and after school, he began working as a mason tender with his father and eventually became a bricklayer like his father and grandfather.

Shane had a passion for the great outdoors, he loved hunting, fishing, trapping and anything to do with nature. He loved bird hunting with his good friend Mark Klosterman.

Shane never had a son, but he had 5 girls that loved the outdoors, just like he did. Nothing gave Shane more pleasure than sitting in a hunting blind or on the water with his girls (especially his Hadlee Bug).

Shane is survived by his 5 daughters Kylin, Hadlee, Remington, Violet and Ezmae Reynolds; his mother Michelle Reynolds of Dodgeville; his sister Tori (Charles) Trace of Platteville; his nieces Raven and Lark Trace; his nephew Croy Trace; his grandma Ruth Reynolds; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a lot of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Reynolds, his grandparents Mike Reynolds, Larry and Marilyn Mathews.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.

Private Family inurnment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Shane’s family appreciated.
