I-G board views water issue with Livingston w


A letter from the Village of Livingston received consideration by the Iowa-Grant School Board at their meeting last Wednesday.

The board discussed correspondence from the Village of Livingston regarding higher than normal effluent pumped from the district to the village’s wastewater treatment facility. The district had repaired two leaks this past summer, and is now working with the village to identify any additional points where rain water might be entering the system. 

A second letter the board received asked them to reconsider a strength and agility  program with an eye to making I-G more competitive in all sports. 

A student addressed the board during public comment with a request to change the high school schedule to provide students with more time to eat lunch.  The matter will be looked into.
