MONTFORT – Stacie Lynn Dailey, age 52, passed away on Saturday afternoon August 30, 2025, at her home.
Stacie was born on August 26, 1973, and raised in the town of Linden through childhood. She attended Linden elementary and middle schools and graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1991. Stacie soon began working at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, where she would end up staying for over 30 years. She was well respected and became close friends with coworkers in the Materials Management department of the hospital.
Stacie met her husband Kent in 1997, and they were married in 1999. Stacie and Kent then started their family in Montfort, where Kent worked on a nearby farm. Their first son, Bryce, came in 2003, and their second, Dru, in 2007. More than anything, Stacie enjoyed spending time with her children. Together they shared their passion for music of all kinds, from country to hard rock. In recent years the family often spent time vacationing together and traveled to Las Vegas, Chicago, Indiana, Pennsylvania and New York. Stacie also enjoyed the company of numerous close friends throughout her years. She will be remembered most for her free spirit, sense of humor and her generous way of putting her loved ones before herself and caring for them in times of need.
Stacie is survived by her husband Kent; two sons Bryce and Dru; stepson Brian Dailey of Platteville and his children Emmett and Elliot; her father, Ralph Peat of Lancaster; and her brother Michael (Gina) Peat of Cobb. She was preceded in death by her mother Joy Larsen; stepfather Robert Larsen; and brother Ronnie Peat.
A Celebration honoring Stacie’s Life will be held at t a later date. The Soman-Larson Funeral Home of Montfort is assisting the family. For online Condolences, please visit: www.larsonfuneralhomes.com.
