Random thoughts——

* Highland School District has a very good thing going for its senior students, requiring them to do senior exit projects.  It is interesting to see what the students come up with and in most cases the community benefits greatly from their efforts.  

* The Brewers and the Badgers, two teams on both ends of the spectrum.  It is tough to see a premier football team fall so deeply out of everything and it will take a lot or work to rebuild.  No comment on coaching.

* The Brewers...when the season started I said “who are these guys?”

Now I know.

What was so neat to see was the celebration after the fifth game of the series with the Cubs. Guys being paid millions to play a game many play for fun were celebrating just like the 10 year old team would.

Nice to see the love of the game there.

* School districts are holding their annual meetings now.  They are held this late so the funds from the state can be accurately included in the budget presentation.  If you don’t attend or don’t watch on zoom then don’t complain.

* One last comment....the hostages are free.  To many lives have been lost but those who survived are home.   A good job getting a peace agreement.  Hope it lasts.
