Be Part of the Tradition: Iowa County Fair Society Invites Community Members to Get Involved as they celebrate 170 years strong in 2026
The Iowa County Fair wrapped up another amazing Labor Day weekend in Mineral Point, drawing record-breaking crowds and celebrating the very best of our county’s agriculture, youth, and community spirit. From livestock judging and 4-H exhibits to horse racing, live music, and carnival fun, this year’s fair was one for the books.
But behind all the fair fun is something equally important — the volunteers and members who make it all possible. As planning begins for next year’s fair, the Iowa County Fair Society is inviting community members to get involved and help keep this proud 170-year tradition thriving.
“The fair is truly a community effort,” said a representative of the Iowa County Fair Society. “It takes months of planning and the dedication of many volunteers to bring it all together. Whether it’s a few hours of your time or becoming a member of the Fair Society, every bit of help makes a difference.”...
