Virginia Ann Reynolds, age 88, of Elm Grove, WI, formerly of Mineral Point, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Virginia, born on March 2, 1937, was the first of eight children, born to Carl and Margaret Berg of Mineral Point, WI. Soon after graduating from Mineral Point High School in 1954, she joined the United States Air Force. Virginia met her future husband, William B. Reynolds, Jr., while stationed at Ramstein Air Base in southwestern Germany. They married in 1960 and had two children. Virginia and Bill were married for 61 years, until Bill passed away in 2021. After leaving the Air Force, Virginia continued working in civil service until her retirement in 2000. After she retired, Virginia and her husband returned to Mineral Point where she resided until 2021.
Virginia enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. She loved taking drives in the county and especially loved going on drives with her sisters. She was an animal lover and had many dogs and cats throughout her life. Virginia loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most recently her two great-grandsons were the light of her life.
Virginia is survived by her son Bill Reynolds (Pamela) of Allen, TX; daughter Rhonda Joyner (Mark) of Elm Grove, WI; grandchildren Amanda Wrenn (Chris); Grace Reynolds; Justin Joyner, Emma Reynolds and Taylor Joyner; great grandsons, James Jared Wrenn and Cassidy Jay Wrenn; and by her sister Henrietta Nyhus (Dave), brother, David Berg (Shaya) and brothers-in-law Wesley Vickers and Curtis Reynolds; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Diane Vickers, Sharon Meylor, Eugene Berg, Wayne Berg; Jerry Berg, sister-in-law Patricia Berg, brother-in-law Tom Meylor; and by her grandson, Jared Case Joyner and nephew Danny Berg.
Virginia’s family would like to express a special thank you for the kindness and compassion expressed by the medical staff at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee and by Horizon Home Care and Hospice. Your love and support during this difficult time will never be forgotten. Most importantly, our family is forever grateful for Virginia’s Rent-a-Daughter caregivers. Thank you for all the love and care you provided, not only to Virginia, but to all of us during these past two years.
A celebration of life will be held on October 11, 2025 at 1:00 for family and friends at the Berg Farm, 1071 Lost Grove Rd., Mineral Point, WI.
