Public meeting scheduled for Hwy 23 in Iowa County
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss two rehabilitation projects on WIS 23 from Commerce Street to US 151 and from Water Street to Dodge Street in Mineral Point, Iowa County.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Mineral Point City Hall, 137 High Street, Suite 1,
Mineral Point. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
These two projects will consist of replacing the existing pavement structure on WIS 23 from Commerce Street to US 151 and performing asphalt pavement milling and overlay work on WIS 23 from Water Street to Dodge Street. The proposed projects also include replacement of guardrail, curb and gutter and culverts.
