Gray, Rick S.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the passing of Rick S. Gray, who left us on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 62. While Rick led a life marked by challenges and struggles, his passing brings both sorrow and reflection on the complexities of his journey.

Rick was born on August 17, 1962 in Merrill, Wisconsin the son of Doris Huckaba and Thomas Gray. While he faced many personal obstacles, Rick's life serves as a reminder of the difficulties and imperfections that come with being human. Those who knew him well knew what a big heart he had. Rick worked as an electrician at E-Tech. Rick was very artistic, enjoyed spending time making unique pieces of woodwork, leatherwork and mushroom hunting. He was a son, brother, father, uncle, and leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered for the moments of kindness, caring, humor, and connection that he offered during his lifetime.

Rick is survived by his mother Doris Finco; brothers Thomas and Vern Gray; sister Michelle Gray all of Lone Rock; daughter Casandra (Jonathan) DeVillers; five grandchildren: Aubrianna, Jayda, Jameson, Josie, and Austyn of Tomahawk.

Rick was preceded in death by his father Thomas Gray and Thomas Finco.

May Rick rest in peace.

Graveside services will be held in the Button Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
