June Moen-Rewey, age 95, of Dodgeville and formerly of Prairie du Chien and Fennimore, died on March 16, 2023 at home in Dodgeville, WI surrounded by her family. June was born on June 19, 1927 on the family farm in Mt. Ida Township the daughter of Wilson and Orva (Simons) Munns. June grew up on the family farm the youngest of six children. She attended Plum Valley School through 8th grade and then graduated from Fennimore High School in 1945. She was known for her pie baking skills and it was usually assumed that she would bring a pie to any event she attended.

Before Ray died, he and June spent many weekends fishing in Prairie du Chien. It was their get-away place. After Ray died and June married John, they sold their home in Fennimore and moved to Prairie du Chien so they could spend more time at the river. By 2014 they could no longer keep up a home.
