Ringstad, Evadean Mae "Deanie"

Evadean Mae "Deanie" Ringstad, age 98 of Dodgeville, passed away at Greenway Manor in Spring Green on Monday, June 12, 2023. She was born May 16, 1925 in Garber, Iowa, the daughter of August and Glennie (Bond) Portwine. 

On October 24, 1948 she married Russell Ringstad of Watertown. When Russell was in the Navy, they lived in South Carolina and California. They stayed in California after Russ got out of the service until 1961 when they returned to Wisconsin. They lived in several places in Wisconsin before moving to Dodgeville.  

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Russell in 2003; five brothers: Harold, Paul, Eugene, August, and Francis; and two sisters: June and Shirley. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home, Dodgeville. A committal service will follow at Mazomanie Cemetery in Mazomanie.
