New economic development specialist introduced to Dodgeville city council
|The Dodgeville City Council members were introduced to the new Economic Development Specialist last Wednesday.|
Steve Genoway officially started in the position March 12, and presented an expanded work plan to the council members. He stated that he looks forward to meeting everyone. All city council members welcomed Genoway.
City Clerk Treasurer Lisa Riley extended many thanks to the coworkers involved with Election Day. She said that the day went very smoothly, and there were 745 voters. A spreadsheet with unofficial results was sent to all council members.
Two certified survey maps presented by the Planning Commission were approved.
Resolution 969 deals with land acquired by KTAP LLC. The land is located behind the downtown barbershop. The resolution also includes an easement that will allow KTAP LLC access to the back of the building, along with trucks being in that area in maintenance cases.
Resolution 970 was also approved for land owned by Timothy and Mary McKinley, Clifford and Alison Olson, and Donald Marten. The resolution would break up areas, and narrow parts of Fountain, Main and Dallas Streets.
Riley also mentioned that Randy Edge is looking for availability on Board of Reviews. Edge was looking sometime between May 16-May 25 and before Memorial Day. Riley also mentioned that 2018 DVD/Training Materials are available to view for certification.
Riley also read the annual proclamation recognizing the Twinning of the City of Dodgeville and the City of Oakham.

-Street Use Permit for St. Joseph's Parish-5K Run for Fun-scheduled for May. 30, 2018
-Delta Dental Insurance Renewal: Up for Renewal in July, rates remain unchanged with single and family policies.
-Approval of claims for Farmer's Savings Bank
-Approval of claims for Old National Bank
